HUSKY HELPING HANDS
Sherman Jr./Sr. High School offers an after school program to assist students with academic success. The program is called, “Husky Helping Hands.” The program is offered every Thursday from 3:30-6:00 p.m. A certified teacher oversees the group with support from an Educational Assistant. The main goal and focus of this program is the improvement of grades as well as attaining skills necessary for future success at SJSHS. All students at SJSHS are invited to attend each session. Transportation home is provided through the school activity bus back to selected locations in Kent, Grass Valley, Moro, Wasco, Rufus and Biggs. Snacks are also available to students who participate in Husky Helping Hands.
